What Josette Martins dislikes about Contrat:
Open kitchen, modern restaurant and fiery atmosphere. The cooked products are fresh and well worked (beef simmered 3h). Only for a menu at 35€ I find that the plates are not enough provides, level quantity c is not that and I made several of the restaurants that I will qualify as semi gastro with menus at 35-40€ and when we left we had more Faim. We had a fantastic meal at the Contrat restaurant. Intimate seating and great ambience. The limited menu allowed me and my partner to try every dish on the menu and we loved every bite. The service was welcoming and friendly. We thought it was a great value for quality food in the kitchen. Hope to visit Montpelier again soon!
As far as I'm concerned, this is the best restaurant in Montpellier and I was with many.
Meals for a group of 16 people, with menu with 2 choice of admissions, 2 dishes, 2 desserts. Effective and friendly service. Everything was original and very good. Very good wine suggestion. Special mention for dessert with lemon cream and green olives: an excellent surprise. To be recommended.
Very nice table with contemporary decoration... a chef looking for who will not doubt will find.... Wonderful map of eclectic wines... certainly one of the most beautiful in the region. Let's add to this a true pro service! Very nice address still confidential
