During my visit to The Pickled Duck I ordered the Game Changer burger and it was amazing!!! When the ‘veggie patty’ was listed as an ingredient I didn’t know what to expect, but I was impressed when the patty tasted like plant based meat rather than vegetables. First time diners, chose the Pickled Duck based on a recommendation from a friend. Ordered the American Gangster & Field of Dreams burgers, Hot Little Mexican Pizza and the chicken salad. The pizza was honestly great. The burgers were bland, and even though different burgers tasted the same. The salad had way too much balsamic glaze. There was no balance to the dishes. When we mentioned the salad's shortcomings, we were offered a coffee or something as compensation! Overall not the worst meal but far from gourmet as promised per the menu. Flavour and balance need improvements, as does service.
Despite a lot of effort the ambiance here is not great - with wait staff whizzing around and people lining up - it feels like a high quality maccas. (Literally attached to a bottle shop also not a great idea.) Sorry if that sounds harsh... I can honestly see they have tried but I stand by what I said. The food was a bit salty for my taste and a tad on the small side given the price which are a bit much for the area. Service okay but not good. 20 minute wait for some burgers and fries.

We were at this place last night. The first thing that caught our eyes is, 'Man, They telecast live cricket! ' We ordered a Veggie Pizza (9 ' ' and a Mediterranean lamb pizza (12 ' ' . The pizzas were thin crusted and we liked it that way. The topping were sumptuous! The Veggie Pizza had a good load of olives, which we loved the most The service was good. We had hot chips too. The quantity was impressive. We also had some soft drinks like coke, pepsi and some beer and wine. The bar menu has very good spread and the bar is nicely arranged too . The place was crowdy but not overflowing which gave the right feel for a good weekend dine. In short, we loved the place Sadly we were not able to get either duck or seafood. As we went in there expecting both of these.
