For three years we've come every summer. We love the family side of the station. The setting and the environment are great for family resourcing. Many activities are possible within or around the station. If you don't want to find yourself lost in a big station I recommend this one! View all feedback.
What romain vallet dislikes about Modane-Val Frejus:
Too bad there is only one gondola that leaves the resort. I thought the norma was more accessible (30 minutes by bus to get there) too much of a waste of time. On the other hand, great restaurant at the top at 2737m. Super cool boss. View all feedback.
Went there this summer in July 2024. At your disposal, concierge, tourist office, bars, restaurants, gift shops, clothing shops, children's daycare, grocery stores, mountain bike rental, in short everything on pkace. Numerous activities for young and old. Gondolas for walking in the mountains (Monday to Thursday), chairlifts (Sundays only). I recommend the restaurant Le Morricone. Very friendly owners, varied menu choice, family atmosphere, dogs allowed (everything to have a pleasant time.
Very beautiful hike from the resort towards the Col de Valfrejus via the Pas du Roc. Breathtaking view of the Grand Argentier Aiguille de Polset and the Dent Parrache. Lunch at the border pass in a welcome cool breeze. 18km 1072m elevation gain.
