The Cheese Barrel is a specialty cafe and providore that was established by neighbouring winery, Olive Farm Wines, in 2012.
Charming and fresh atmosphere, with knowledgeable staff and some of the finest wines I've sampled in Western Australia—an impressive feat for a New Zealander! I would definitely recommend this place to others. My favorite wine was the Traminer.
OFW hosted a wine tasting experience at our home for 10 people, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Deb was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and was also very organized and friendly. The wine was fantastic, as always, and Shimmer has become my new favorite champagne!
I attended the winery event for the release of their new wines, and it was amazing! The event was incredibly well organized, and the staff were both professional and friendly. I learned some interesting details about the winemaking process and even got a sneak peek behind the scenes. Most importantly, the wines were exceptional, and the selection of cheeses was outstanding, perfectly complementing the wines. Great job, everyone!
