Despite mixed reviews, Shaved Duck impressed with its food and service. The duck confit and biscuits and gravy received high praise, while other dishes fell short. The staff, from servers to hosts, were accommodating and made customers feel at home. The ambiance allowed for a relaxed dining experience, perfect for dates or gatherings with friends. Although some dishes were overcooked or bland, the overall consensus was positive. For a brunch spot with reliable service and delicious food, Shaved Duck comes recommended. With a few tweaks, this restaurant has the potential to become a must-visit dining destination.
Great food, wonderful server. Thanks. It was a second date for us so still much to talk about and we stayed past afternoon closing. Nobody pressured us. Very nice and accommodating staff.
We've been to the Shaved Duck several times now, and are always impressed with the service and the food. This was our first time going there for brunch, and just like with their dinners, would not Hesitate to go again and will recommend to others if they ask about a good brunch spot. The biscuits and gravy was spot on, best I've had in years. Kudos again to the entire crew, from owner to managers to servers to hosts, they make you feel welcome and at home the entire time. Looking forward to our next visit already.
This restaurant came highly recommended and we were trying it out to host our rehearsal dinner. I'm so glad we did. I'm guessing covid had a massive impact on this restaurant. The food was very ok and a few things weren't cooked correctly. The service was really lacking. It was very clear they were understaffed. The hostess was also a waitress. We were waiting a long time before being checked on and were delivered dirty silverware and glasses. Disappointed to leave this review and I wish them all the best in sorting it out, but we won't return here.
Valentine's Day at this restaurant was exceptional. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. A big thank you to everyone involved.
