Recent visits note louder, brighter evenings that can feel nightclub-like and occasional discrepancies with posted opening hours. Non-Spanish speakers may struggle because most staff speak Spanish. Despite these issues, consistently good cooking, friendly service and fair prices keep it a reliable spot for casual Cuban meals.
I went there in the morning based on the time that they open on Google which is 6:00 a.m. the place was completely closed and dark no cars parked outside. They wasted my time and gas. Update your hours.
I had a great experience trying their mofongo, a plantain appetizer topped with pork rinds. It was incredibly tasty and could easily serve two people. I also ordered a chicken steak alongside rice, beans, and maduros. The prices are quite reasonable here as well! They have two dinner specials for $19.00, with a selection of five dishes to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant for a laid-back and delicious lunch or dinner!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The managers and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Without question, this is the best Cuban restaurant in Miami!
The reason of my 3 stars rate is not because the food is bad. I?ve been to this place twice, I had a good experience both occasions, customer service is very good, the girls are very kind, and breakfasts here are really good. You?re going to findmany options, and different combinations of sandwiches, eggs, coffe and chocolate, and you?re going to leave satisfied. I wouldhave given to this place more starts if it wasn?t because nobody speaks English here. If you don?t speak English you can?t go tothis place because nobody is going to understand you. I know most of people who go to this place speaks Spanish, but at leasthave just one person who knows basic English. The second time I went there I saw a family who just spoke English. The first girlwho was going to take care of those customers told them ?give me a second?, she called another girl, she goes to that table, andthe family Was asking questions about the menu, so the second girl doesn?t understand anything, and calls a third girl, who alsosays ?give me a second?, and goes to get another girl, who didn?t understand anything either. After that the family left becausenobody could take their order or answers their questions about the menu.
