If you have a sweet tooth like I do, you'll enjoy these cookies just as much as I did. They're reasonably priced cookies and largely sized too; worth every buck! They make the cookies with the perfect crunch on the outside and gooey goodness in the middle. The cookies here are large, artisan, chewy, and truly decadent. My personal favorite is the Ave Maria; I'm a sucker for anything guava, so it definitely gets my full endorsement. My husband's favorite is the Dirty Diana. He adores chocolate, and the Nutella center just adds the perfect touch. One suggestion I have is to consider adding coffee to the menu. Their cookies would pair wonderfully with a latte or cappuccino. I was a bit disappointed that coffee wasn't available.
This place is a staple here in Miami. I hope it never leaves. I have been a fan since the old location. This was my first time dropping in to the new location. We ordered the Ave Maria, the s'mores, the double chocolate Oreo, with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. Oh my god, what a combination. My favorite is still the Ave Maria. It's a perfect cookie consistency and flavor, the sweetness isn't overwhelming and it doesn't make me feel like I'm eating a cake. Then I would say I enjoyed the s'mores cookie almost as much, and lastly the chocolate over load that makes you need a sip of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk after every bite. They are all decadent in their own ways. I truly think the cereal infused milk is a genius idea, it truly compliments the flavors of the different cookies, and also serves to cleanse your palate between gooey decadent bites. I would say this is a great place to take your special sweetheart to show them you really care.
A go-to always. Best chewy cookies in town, I've been a huge fan since they were so small. Must try: Chocolate chip, Oreo, cinnamon, brownie, Ave Maria. Not cheap but worth it. Always fresh. Get ready for big lines.
Night Owl Cookies is a huge hot spot in Miami and for good reason. They recently moved to a bigger location next to FIU with even more instagram worthy walls (even the tables are perfect for posts). On the weakends prepare yourself for a little bit of a wait, but they seem to have a perfect system in place that will even text you when your order is ready. Remember you can also choose delivery via postmates. For those further away they've actually gone national!! Big deal for a local business. Now let's get to the food. Everything is delicious, but if I had to choose I think you can't go wrong with Rainbow Over Bedrock (white chocolate chips and crunchy Fruity Pebbles cereal) and Birthday cake (white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and rainbow sprinkles). Each cookie is around 2.50- 2.75 so not too steep for the quality, but if you add nutella for a additional .75 or cream cheese frosting .25 then the price does go up a little. Only recently did I discover that they also have Rainbow Over Bedrock milk and Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk so I know I'll be returning soon. Tip: They have vegan options.
