Charming riverside venue, with a good selection of small plates, ideal for tapas style dining. There are full meals also & children's choices, though these are not on the menu. A good selection of wines, beers & spirits. All offerings are only Australian produce. The slow cooked lamb ribs & Parmesan chicken wings with saffron sauce are particularly good View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Pilgrim Bar:
Beautiful setting but the only good thing to say. Such loud music that the staff can't hear to take a order correctly and the customers can't hear their response. The result was we couldn't get the type of tea we wanted nor the kind of food. We settled for wrong tea and two deserts that were vastly overpriced and not what we wanted. We should have gone elsewhere. View all feedback.

Had an amazing experience with gin and food inspired by Australian native ingredients. The flavors were absolutely delicious! The standout of the night were the wait staff, Olivia and Ella, who provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place for a leisurely afternoon of indulging in drinks and food!
The only thing this place has got going for it is the location and view. QR ordering, which is so impersonal. Even when the food and drinks arrived they came without a smile!! Only one young waitress was actually friendly and looked happy long dark hair, tied back). Worst wedges we've ever seen. As we were leaving we saw people with food we didn't even see on the QR menu ????
We went here for a high tea which they apparently don't offer anymore but they still advertise it on their website. Don't book here if you're wanting the high tea. The place is otherwise a nice bar.
Food was 10/10. Tea smoked mussels 12/10. Very reasonably priced. Definitely going back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $40–60
