I live in the apartment building next door so this pho place is really convenient however I never come here as it’s probably the worst pho I’ve had in my life. Once a year since it’s been open I have come back to see if...maybe it’s improved but am disappointed every time. Resembling the Pho 24 chain in Saigon, Vietnam, this Vietnamese restaurant on Spencer Street in Melbourne's CBD is a welcome addition. The modern yet traditional interior is clean and inviting. Orders are placed at the counter and you receive a buzzer for notification. I tried the bún thịt nướng chả giò (vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls), which was served generously with fresh and abundant salad. I am excited to taste the pho on my next visit.
This is my second time in the past three years that I have visited Melbourne on a cruise, and I have dined at this restaurant both times. I enjoyed it so much the first time that I had to come back. The food is fantastic.
