Met freinds there last night for a chat and something light to eat. Great menu and great Pho, generous serves, good value and tasty. Had couple of beers and wines. Take out or eat in. View all feedback.
What Zlatko Pavlič dislikes about PHO24:
I live in the apartment building next door so this pho place is really convenient however I never come here as it’s probably the worst pho I’ve had in my life. Once a year since it’s been open I have come back to see if...maybe it’s improved but am disappointed every time. I agree with another review in saying that I would not be surprised if the soup was made from stock cubes. Quite salty and not very light like a u... View all feedback.
We stayed above here in a recent trip to Melbourne and the smells were amazing coming from the restaurant, so we had to try it. We had the chicken Pho and Vegetarian Spring Rolls. It was very tasty, with friendly staff and affordable pricing.
Enjoyed a pho before catching the Skybus to the Airport. Reasonably priced, very quick service, lovely fresh ingredients.
This has become my go-to place when needing to eat before or after traveling to or from the airport. It's right across the road from the Sky Bus terminal at Southern Cross station. The food is fresh, flavoursome and reasonably priced. Complimentary tea and water. Good vegetarian options. The broth is nice but not as complex as others. I believe the vege pho is made on vege stock but am not sure about the beef and chicken pho. It's just noodles and protein, no additional veges apart from standard onion and bean sprouts. Pho comes in three sizes: cup, regular or large sizes. There are also vermicelli salads, rice paper rolls and spring rolls, plus all the chilli sauce options you could fancy.
Resembling the Pho 24 chain in Saigon, Vietnam, this Vietnamese restaurant on Spencer Street in Melbourne's CBD is a welcome addition. The modern yet traditional interior is clean and inviting. Orders are placed at the counter and you receive a buzzer for notification. I tried the bún thịt nướng chả giò (vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls), which was served generously with fresh and abundant salad. I am excited to taste the pho on my next visit.
