Great coffee. Did I mention that they do great coffee. In case you didn't get the point, they have great coffee.
Based on the reviews I had expected a memorable brunch but sad to say it wasn't. We had the french toast and huevos rancheros. They were pretty average, not tasty like we have had at some other cafes in Melbourne. Coffee wasn't too bad but overall the food will not be tempting us back.
Sunday morning breakfast with our city living child near her home - North Cafeteria was the choice - nice tables outside in the sun - locals coming by with their dogs - a nice vibe. The food was fresh and tasty - I liked the corn fritters with bacon and a spicy salsa. Coffee was good. Service was speedy and pleasant. A good local cafe. Also check out the Eco store Clay next door - great take home products.
Food is good, but when I dined in (around 9am) the door was open and freezing air coming in (6 degrees outside) with myself and another diner wearing full winter jackets. I asked if the door could be closed and was told “no”. Very poor customer service and I won’t be coming back.
