Menu

The Kitchen Workshop restaurant offers a great buffet dining experience for large groups, with plenty of food choices, self-serve soft drinks, and a variety of desserts. The atmosphere may be noisy and seating arrangements challenging for big groups, but the staff are accommodating and the overall experience is enjoyable. However, some diners have noted a decline in quality and variety post-covid reopening, with issues such as high prices, limited food options, and lukewarm dishes. Some have also reported negative interactions with management, including incidents of discrimination. On the positive side, the restaurant has made improvements over the years, offering cleaner surroundings, good service, and quality food. Overall, the buffet provides good value for the cost, with highlights including a variety of cuisine options and a pleasant atmosphere. While there may be some drawbacks such as chaotic arrival processes and mediocre service, the experience as a whole is satisfactory for most diners.

Was Lucienne Hauck at Kitsch a mag?
decent buffet lounge in the offer. service was very good. there was a bit of a witness with the bill as we had paid, but it was fixed I would just guess to order and not pay (or mix it and head...out to breakfast) View all feedback.
What Tuệ Từ dislikes about Kitsch:
Went here for husbands birthday as it sounded like a great buffet online. BARELY any food options available and the dessert table had the same thing repetitive on both side and NO chocolate options at ALL expect for a topping for soft serve. Would not...recommend if you want seafood and are craving delicious food. It’s just simple oven food and a ham and roast nothing special. Soft drinks jugs/cups were free for you... View all feedback.
I came here for the dinner, the food was ok, I wish there was more variety for the dessert, for example, a compliment with cafe or tea.
We enjoyed a work lunch time gathering (56 people) at the Kitchen Workshop. The food was great and plenty of choice, self help to soft drinks, tea and coffee and staff took dishes away as we finished. Desert was wow lots to enjoy and yes some did have seconds and thirds. A bar is open if you wish to purchase alcohol to enjoy with your meal. Hard to all sit together and quite noisey inside but all enjoyed the variety and could move around the tables to all catch up. We made a booking as a large number and our tables where ready when we arrived, thanks to all the staff a fun lunch:O)
Family friends came from Auckland to visits us here in Melbourne. it was a pleasant evening to have our dinner together and enjoyed our fellowship with each other.
When it was time to pay, I was asked against all chances of paying the payment before the completion of the meal, because I asked the additional fees due on the public holiday. I asked if I could explain this to the person I supported for access to the community...again the most jealous manager refused to give me the permission to explain this additional fee for the person I supported. this was a completely embarrassing situation and I was forced to make the payment before location. also the manager threatened to call the security if I would not pay in advance. N/B - I didn't say that I wouldn't pay, I just wanted a few time to explain what happened to the person I supported, how it was her money. for me this was a total act of discrimination, mobbing and harassment against a person of color and a person with impediment. Please don't eat here.
It was Saturday midday buffet. everything seemed okay until we served our food. the spread looked like she was cut to size small. not much food. I checked the place for another visit with the family. the children become...disappointed no lasagna no noodles, no fried rice, no fish, no nuggets. pork and a chicken dish were main dishes. I'd have to go somewhere else if the family were concerned for the buffet.
