Itahlia is located at the Sunbury Cinema Complex, 25-47 Horne Street, Sunbury, and offers ample parking like that found at Sunbury Mall. I visited for lunch in February before watching "Jojo Rabbit." Since figs were in season, I decided to try the Fig, Rocket, and Prosciutto Pizza, which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially the blend of hearty and sweet flavors. Pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly and polite. Cheesy Garlic bread came out quickly as an entree. Bowl of fries was generous and my porterhouse was better than expected with good flavors and cooked well. $2.50 for pepper sauce a bit rich. Other diners enjoyed their pasta and the main size was too big for one guy, but a take away container was offered. Drinks list could probably do with a freshen up. Great value, good staff and speedy service. If you're tired of getting average value at other restaurants in Sunbury, I recommend giving Itahlia a go.
A small group of us went to dinner at Itahlia to celebrate a birthday. We were warmly greeted by the wait staff. Drinks arrived promptly and the food was well presented and the 'salt and pepper ' calamari was fresh and delicious. We were given plates for the birthday cake and staff even took our photo. I was very impressed by the staff, food and décor. Well done and thank you.
I decided to give this hidden gem in Sunbury a try, and I was absolutely pleased with the experience. The atmosphere and decor are simply beautiful. The service was quick and efficient. We shared some garlic bread and ordered two pizzas, which were incredibly delicious with their thin, Italian-style crust. I loved every bite!
Today, we ordered the pulled pork burger and the chicken parmigiana, and we were thoroughly impressed. The burger buns were beautifully soft, and the tender pulled pork paired perfectly with the tasty coleslaw. The chicken parmigiana was fresh, with the chicken cooked to perfection and topped with a delightful sauce—definitely satisfied our cravings! Itahlia is a laid-back Italian restaurant situated next to Readings cinema in Sunbury. I ordered the entree-sized pesto penne along with a seasonal vegetable salad. Both dishes were generously portioned and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. My friend tried the Nutella pizza; it was a bit too rich for my taste, but it might be perfect for chocolate and Nutella lovers.
