We visited Abc Chicken for dinner and chose to dine upstairs, which was less crowded. While waiting, they served snacks to customers, which was a nice touch. The chicken was just okay. We ordered more dishes than shown in the picture, but since the other food arrived late, I didn’t take more photos. The service definitely needs improvement. Throughout my visits to restaurants in Melbourne, I’ve never had a bad service experience until now. Service: 1 Food: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: A$20–40
Wow, what a unique flavor! I was initially very skeptical about the hot carbonara sauce, but it turned out to be alright. The chicken was decent, although about 15% of the order contained no chicken—just small fried crumbs left in the box. The sweet potato chips were okay but nothing extraordinary, and the dipping sauce provided was only enough for about four chips. Overall, I think it's a bit overpriced considering the quality and quantity. Service was takeout only. Price per person: A$40–60. Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5.
At Abc Chicken, we tried a few sides including edamame, corn cheese, and kimchi, along with their Assorted Tempura. The tempura was more chicken-focused than I expected but still enjoyable. I especially liked the fried rice cakes and the accompanying sauce. The service was quite good as well. While it’s not my new favorite spot, Abc Chicken is definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby, especially since it was quiet. The menu offers a nice variety. Service: 5, Food: 4, Atmosphere: 4.
