First time at Lake Norris and stopped here for lunch. Great food and great service. Seems like it would be a blast at night.
This place has good food, drinks, etc. but don't come when you're on a tight schedule. Or any schedule at all. The waitress we had was delightful, and the drinks were great, but there's not a ton you can do to make up for a glacial kitchen.
Love Bubba's early and late season on Norris Lake before the migration of tourists head south. I selfishly hesitate to tell folks to head to the back bar, Chloe is a great bartender--very attentive. This was first time we tried the brisket (fresh off the on-site smoker) tacos...won't be the last!
This restaurant has fantastic potential, but I'm unsure if the problems are due to staffing or something else. During my second visit in four weeks, we had to wait an hour for our food. Thankfully, there was a sign informing us about the wait time before we entered this time. The food, drinks, and service have consistently been excellent, but I’m not quite sure what's been going on recently. I suggest inquiring about the food wait times before you take a seat.
The food and drinks were fantastic, and we had an incredible view of the boat traffic on Norris Lake. While we did wait a bit for our meals, it was definitely worth it. If you visit when there's live music, just be ready for a longer wait for a table.
