Was Jeremy Cowan at Hipburger a mag?
Solid dining experience. Hamburger meat was well cooked, flavorful, and moist. The bacon was crispy and the thickness of the fresh tomato was just right. The bun was soft, and a bit mushy. Reminded me of a potato bun. Not my favorite, but it wasn?t bad. My child had the chicken nuggets, which tasted great. Regular fries were pretty blah, so we traded up for the garlic parmesan fries. The food was really good. The wait time was not the best for us. We watched 5 cars behind us get their food while we sat in the car with the bag of fries they gave us. We waited about 15 minutes in the parking spot. By the time we got home the fries werecold and weren't great, but the burger was great and so were the nuggets. Awesome place! What a great burger spot. The staff were all nice and the food absolutely delicious. Ordered the double cheeseburger and fries. So hot and fresh. Very impressed. They make crinkle fries which is a big plus. The burger was very juicy and flavorful. Next time I?ll try a milkshake. Oh and they have pellet ice!
Tried Hip Burger last night and absolutely loved it! The burgers were comparable to In N out. As someone who grew up with In N Out on a regular basis I have missed it greatly since moving here. Not only were the burgers and fries delicious, the ambience of the restaurant was fun! Bright colors throughout the restaurant, hilarious bathroom signage, creative stickers for your hydro or car, and to top it off, the service was prompt. Will definitely be making this a regular stop and I suggest you do too!
Burger was great, skip the chicken sandwiches. Not a big fan of crinkle fries but they were good. Get some regular fries and it will be a perfect combo. Drifters hamburgers in Colorado springs is still the best fastfood cheeseburgers, but I will definitely put this in the top three. I am only sad that the are only in south Carolina. One more reason to come out and visit my sister.
