Fantastic burgers above the board. For the first time, I tried it a few weeks ago. Bare bone selection (hamburger/American/Mozzarella/Blue; Chips/Fries) but I don't hate them for it (I wouldn't fight them on a bacon cheddar grill onion jalapeño combination).

The food is always consistently excellent. The cheeseburger is the best in the southern suburbs. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming. The chili was also quite tasty. It's a very clean establishment that will remind you of the classic neighborhood bar. Plus, parking is easy.
Freeh's is one of the last remaining gems of Old Matteson. As time marches on, many cherished establishments have vanished, making it all the more special. I highly recommend visiting Freeh's to try one of the best burgers you'll ever taste. You'll also be greeted with excellent service and a selection of refreshing drinks from the friendly staff.
