Was renpa at Capricorns a mag?
Of course, the cheese plate was delicious, but it is Switzerland... my husband and I had recommended a pork dish and a beef dish from our server and both were some of the best meals I ever tasted! The meat fell apart and the vegetables and the schalopp-like potatoes were also perfectly cooked. The service was excellent, although the restaurant was full. We didn't eat anything at the Capricorn restaurant. We tried (a few days in advance) to book a table for dinner on a Saturday, but -rudely was told by the manager that the hotel and the restaurant were full. This fact, of course, we can understand: It is the way she has dealt with our request (the voice awakened and looked strongly annoyed by our request), which surprises us most. Das letzte Mal vor rund 6 Jahren hatte ich hier oben ein tolles Restaurant mit toller Bedienung. Heute jedoch wurden wir ziemlich unfreundlich bedient. Der Kaffee hat köstlich geschmeckt. Ob wir um 11:20 wohl einfach zu früh vor Ort waren? Eigentlich ungewöhnlich an diesem Ort.
Das Restaurant liegt mit schöner Aussicht über das Tal, weit oben in Wergenstein. Sehr nette Bedienung und feines Essen gibt es hier. Das Lokal ist schön und einfach eingerichtet. Bei schönes Wetter gibt es eine grosse Terrasse.
Leider passen die bisherigen Bewertungen nicht zu unserer Erfahrung im Capricorns.Wir waren an einem Sonntagabend da und es war nicht sehr voll (ca. 7-9 Tische besetzt).Wir wurden von Beginn weg nicht sehr freundlich und etwas forsch bedient. Die Beachtung des Personals war nicht gegeben.Das Essen liess sehr lange auf sich warten - für einen kleinen Salat, Hauptgang und Dessert (dieser kam wegen unseres Hinweises innerhalb von ein paar Minuten) waren wir ca. 2h 30min da.Auf den Hauptgang mussten wir eine Stunde warten.Das Essen war gut, aber nicht speziell wie in den anderen Kommentaren erwähnt. Die frittierten Kartoffeln waren zu sehr durch und hart.Schade, wir würden es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Very nice service. Very friendly! Gastronomic specialities are served in special dishes. We really enjoyed it!
