Was Dawn Handler at D.a. Subs a mag?
I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. It's located in a plaza on Route 34. Just a heads up—they don't accept debit or credit cards, so we were lucky to have cash on hand. The service was quick, and the subs were delicious! Very good subs, they where closed and need to post store hours. I went there on sunday and where closed at 4:30. Other customers left too.
I am embarrassed I have been living in Matawan for 60 years I have had subs from everyplace that makes them. My son Rob came home the other day and said Dad I tried DA Subs. OMG what a pleasure the Italian sub was bursting with meat it was just perfect and the price was much less than other places. Sad news I bowled with Danny many year's ago and never bought a sub there I am really embarrassed. DA's is the absolute best. Thank you Danny. ?
I would give up an arm and a leg to eat the subs here. Best subs in town without a doubt
