In June 2020, B R Dining acquired the old Plate Porter in March and transformed it into a modern destination restaurant in March, Cambridgeshire. The restaurant now boasts warm, inviting dining rooms with oak flooring, contemporary furnishings, and art from local Fenland artists. A beautiful outside garden with a bar and BBQ area will be completed for spring 2021. Our head chef is dedicated to innovative dining, sourcing ingredients locally to give a modern twist to classic cuisine. Our front of house team will ensure you have a relaxed time in a wonderful atmosphere, and our wine experts have collaborated with our local wine merchants, Matthew Clark, to provide an extensive and exciting wine list to suit all tastes.

B&R catered our wedding recently. They were wonderful, the staff were attentive and made sure we had the best experience (including regularly checking the bride and groom were ok, which was a lovely touch . The food was wonderful and the tasting experience was also very positive. Jacob was amazing at making sure that we had the perfect day and ensured the team were on top form! Thank you! B R catered for our wedding this weekend and just did the best job. We went for a feast option, which was so much fun for the guests. Many people said it was the best wedding food they'd had! Jacob, Pete and the team were so accommodating, with a few changes even until the day before. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food was amazing. Nice to have somewhere to eat in March that has fine dining. Lovely atmosphere and great hosts !
Our first time there and had a very tasty roast beef dinner delicious. We will be back
