Nestled in the heart of town, this long-established sub shop promises a taste of nostalgia. While many patrons rave about its delicious subs and friendly service, recent visits reveal a need for revitalization. Even though I would often walk past this restaurant when I was in school in this city, it wasn't until I was in my mid-20s that I finally decided to try their food. The interior had a nice theme, particularly with the pictures of the owner's ancestors and local sports teams from the past. However, as I approached the counter to place my order, I noticed there were flies buzzing around. Then, while waiting in line for my food, I could see through the kitchen doorframe and observed an employee chopping tomatoes without gloves or a hairnet...not a good sight to see. The sub I ordered was tasty, but the restaurant and its employees could use some improvement.
First time I have ever been here.My food was peparied the way I wanted it and the service was great.Very nice set up for a sub store.I will be returning again.
We are we stopped here because I wanted to eat a sandwich on our road trip the food was so good and the people here are so nice. I would definitely go out of my way to come eat here again
