Was greeted and helped right away, but as soon as a large group was seated. No refills were brought, appetizers put in were at 20 minutes and still not out so we canceled them. Bartender claimed, “Big group was getting prioritized”. Terrible answer, had to also go up to request all 4 tabs and the bartender who helped us stopped to serve food to the large group before grabbing our tabs. I get good service, but provide... If you appreciate generous portions, this bar and hangout is the place for you. It has a classic vibe that feels like a throwback to another time. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. The staff did take a bit of waving to get their attention, which was understandable given the Thursday after-work crowd. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area and on the lookout for a Cougar or a Sugar Daddy to support you through college.
By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was a person at the door, didn't say anything when we came in, no sign, so we sat at a table. Obviously, we were seen by this doorman and the person behind the bar. No one came to our table to wait for us. Maybe 10 people. We're up and down. We will spend our money elsewhere in Mankato and so all the others will be in my extensive family when they visit. We will never apply this business
The food was decent, but the service was a bit slow. To be fair, we did visit while they were hosting their bingo game.
The steak salad was delicious, and the live music was fantastic. However, $9 for a glass of house wine feels a bit pricey. The server was very pleasant.
The restaurant is a bit run-down and quite faded, but it remains a popular spot and a great option for lunch or dinner. It's ideal for casual dining on a budget.
