Was dexion at Diecinueve a mag?
After 9 days of mediteranean food I just wanted some meat so I found this restaurant and had the best fillet steak in my life. They also are making side sallads of your own choice whats difficult to find in Spain in general. Lovely wine too View all feedback.

Nice setting, but very bad staff, almost rude....food was ok but nothing more...expensive, which i don't mind at all if the food is great, which it wasn't....be advised. View all feedback.
Tapas ,tapas and tapas with a very good beer.This small restaurant was a good oportunity to taste spanish paella .
Very nicely situated on a bustling passage amongst other restaurants. Modern style and a slightly different selection of food compared to average. Very enjoyable...

We stumbled across this restaurant when visiting Malaga before getting plane home. Very pleasantly surprised. We had menu de gastacion and each course was a delight. Very reasonably priced too.
I highly recommend DieciNueve because they offer a welcome alternative to the identical, uninspired, touristy menus of so many restaurants in the surrounding area. I found DieciNueve after strolling around for half an hour, during a business trip; I didn't want the tried and trite Salad and paella set menu offered by nearly every other place. From the day's Set Menu I ordered an Ajoblanco (chilled Garlic Soup with grapes sultanas) which was outstanding, and for a main course Salmon fillet with some sort of fried peppers tasty and healthy. Service was first rate and if the weather's nice it's a very pleasant street in which to dine al fresco people watching, but the street's not wide enough to actually become crowded. I shall return next time I'm in Málaga.
