we are located here in a popular restaurant, very appreciated by students, with a kitchen "to house" to (something) lower trips than in restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, with what they need to celebrate without breaking the bank. there is the possibility to eat outside (on the road, pedestrian zone) if the weather permits. We eat and drink more often in the Grandma Else and it was always very nice! Pleasant ambience, very nice, attentive service and breakfast (especially the pancakes and the scrambled eggs with bread as well as the warm dishes are very delicious. Portion sizes are like grandma, we really never had to go hungry; so we like to come back at any time, it is only recommended!
Eat with 4 people this morning, everything we ate was super delicious, especially the cooked eggs were on site! Thanks also for the very nice service!
Great breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere with good service and super price ratio. My favorite comb is the scrambled eggs and then the pancakes;
As tourists we visited Mainz and ended up hungry at Grandma Else 's in the evening. Friendly welcome, nice little table, quick accommodation of our wishes and then really delicious food: one vegetarian, one something for the meat eater: both plentiful, well seasoned and nice to look at. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, we would love to come back!
