What Anonym dislikes about Lorena Cafeterua Cervecia:
I really don't get off then establishment, cluttered little, ugly, cook so I don't see so dark, disordered and drop in front of the mini toilets, that if they were the safe health inspection that wouldn't be open, little cleaning, cold tapas hard bread, and sosas is little, the pious rations, a varied example of chromquettes) almost like that, they didn't know everything different. the only thing that is a holiday pl... Excellent service with great tasting delicacies. An authentic Spanish tapas style bar with a warm atmosphere. Truly recommended if you want to mix with the locals.
First time here because el mercado la cebada was closed. But a great experience: eat local tapas with tapas. Second time for the same reason. Lot of local poeple and a few tourist. The waiters does not speak English and are not a lot friend but not asymptomatic so it is really ok : but you can eat good hole made tapas ! This is why we came twice ; you feel like being a madrilenian like living on the same rythm : if you like that: come to Lorena;
We enjoyed the atmosphere and staff so much we ate breakfast here two days in a row. We struggled with the language barrier our first day in Madrid, but the kind waitress helped us out best she could. When we had to leave in a hurry, she poured my cappuccino in a to-go cup and added some fresh steamed milk to it. The pastries were divine and the coffees hit the spot.
Not sure how anyone could rate this place anything less than 5 stars. We had lunch here during a 4-city, 2-week tour of Spain—and it was our favorite tapas spot by far (and we ate a lot of tapas). The gazpacho was perfectly seasoned, the pinchos were outstanding, and the service was impressive, especially for a busy Wednesday afternoon. Pro tip for the critics: when a place is packed with locals, it's probably doing something right. Highly recommend trying it for yourself. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
