What Gardner Bayer dislikes about Swad:
a reasonable spread. However, the non-veg dishes were a tad cold. vegetarian causes were good, desserts were average, ambiente des ortes was good. They played Bollywood music and the paintings on the walls are simply super. yet a reasonable culinary experience. View all feedback.
Unforgettable! peshawari nan was exquisite. my dining room partner ordered lamm curry and I ordered veggie curry both were excellent, but when we mixed the two together, it was love on the first bit! really delicious eating. If I could eat here every week, I would look forward to it every time. waitstaff was very attentive and polite. wonderful experience.
Five star quality food. I have been many Indian restaurant over the year and foods are very similar but last week I was at the SWAD restaurnat with my family and found the test of food were fantastic 5 stars quality and very friendly staff. I recomended highly.
Want to see it in 2 months. The Chicken curry and the samosas, accompaniments were excellent The Peshawari Nan was a pita bread with the fillings inserted and then grilled. This was very sloppy They took over an hour to bring my food HOWEVER this restaurant is very new and they are still figuring out staffing. Nan bread are made in a special way so maybe the substituted the pita for nan to save time? At any rate, they gave us a 50% discount for our wait. I would definitely come back again because the food was really good but wait a few months for it to find its groove.
A reasonable spread. However the non veg dishes were a tad cold. Vegetarian stuff was good, desserts were average, ambience of the place was good . They have bollywood music playing and the paintings on the walls are just awesome. Nonetheless a reasonable dining experience.
