Set in Madison, this attractive, casual spot serves fresh seafood, standout fried chicken and mushrooms, inventive tacos and generous desserts alongside a wide craft-beer and cocktail selection. Friendly servers and a pleasant patio make it inviting for conversation, but inconsistent staffing produces slow, sometimes inaccurate service and small portions; a few dishes have been overly salty or limp. Prices trend high and on-site parking is very limited, yet many return for the flavorful menu and drink lineup.

In terms of accessibility, the restaurant isn’t the most wheelchair-friendly, but it also isn't the worst. There's a ramp for entry, but it lacks automatic doors. The seating area can feel a bit cramped, especially during busy times, which makes it challenging to move around. The booths are raised, so seating options are limited to tables. However, there are outdoor and porch seating alternatives available for wheelc... View all feedback.
What Chris Davidson dislikes about Off Broadway Drafthouse:
Food was just okay (pan seared salmon, burger, cheese curds). Service was good but clearly under staffed. Prices typical for the Madison area which are high. Not good enough to go back. View all feedback.
The food was excellent. Lavender Haze was truly outstanding! The fries are made in-house and are cut to the perfect thickness, allowing for thorough cooking.
The food and drinks were excellent! It was my first time visiting, and I will definitely return. We had the pleasure of sitting outside on their patio, which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery, creating a lovely, private atmosphere. The Nitro Espresso Martini was delicious! The food was great as well, as you can see from the half-eaten dishes in the pictures (I promise my phone didn't eat first!). I highly recommend this place!
The birria tacos were excellent, but the Spanish rice that accompanied them was disappointing—quite dry and lacking in flavor. The service was good overall. However, parking can be a bit challenging, as there are only 12 spots in the restaurant's parking lot, which means you'll likely need to find street parking.
I did not have a chance to seat inside , yet. But the burgers and fries are soooooo delicious. We live close by and on a lazy days we just order the burgers to go. I love it, can 't wait for another lazy and cheat meal day
Very busy on the friday night we went. That's awesome to see! Wait was about 30 minutes, but there wasn't a lot of standing space to wait. The food was okay. My girlfriend's fish had a very odd tasting breading, while my burger tasted underwhelming. Overall, not the worst food I've ever had. I would go again to watch sports and have unique beers.
