There are certainly many places in Wisconsin where you can enjoy a brat, but none are better than those served by the friendly young women at the Wisconsin Union Terrace, where you can also choose from a selection of local beers while taking in the view of Lake Mendota. This experience is a must-try, and you don’t need to be a student to enjoy it. View all feedback.
Brat, corn on the cob, grilled chicken sandwich and a couple of waters. Quick service and reasonable price for the venue. Food was good and the views are excellent.
I like this place! They provide first-cleass dishes, they have a nice menu, The chef in that place is very trained, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the guests is agreeable. I visit often this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.
We were in town on our 50 state quest and wanted to try the local cuisine-brats, beer and roasted corn on the cob. We got all three here and were very pleased with the food. The brats and corn were grilled, nicely done. The Blue Moon beer was very cold which paired well with the protein. The setting on the lake makes a great venue for a fun meal. Lots of UW students were out in force there. Very friendly service and reasonable prices mean Like the Terminator, I'll be back.
Always a great experience! This place at the terrace is a reliable spot to enjoy a pitcher and some food. It’s a classic destination at the terrace. I’ve noticed that the wait times at the brat stand are shorter than those inside!
Beer, Brats, Hamburgers, a view of the Lake Mendota. What more can you ask for. By the glass or pitcher craft brews.
