I stayed at Hotel Thorenberg and went for dinner at the Hotel 's restaurant named Maximo . As the Hotel itself is not in a good location I was even more surprised about the Menu. I had a Fitnessteller Salad with a little veal filet. Guess what the price was. US 36,00 !! And the Coke was priced at US 6,10 !! Sehr schönes Restaurant mit vielen PP vor dem Haus. Schöne Tageskarte - jedoch, ausser das Tagesmenü etwas im gehoberen Bereich. Sehr nette, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung - das gefällt!
Tolle Menukarte, für jeden was dabei. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist aufmerksam und motiviert bei der Arbeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!
Das Restaurant liegt ausserhalb in Littau, direkt an der Strasse Luzern-Emmental.Es gibt mehrere günstige Menues am Mittag, wir haben unterschiedlich bestellt und waren beide zufrieden.Das Restaurant scheint ziemlich viel Stammkundschaft zu haben.Leider fanden wir den Preis für einen Liter Mineral mit 11 Franken etwas hoch.

I never wrote a restaurant review focussing on prices but this was a unique experience. So, first of all, don 't sleep in this Hotel as it is on a motorway and all the rooms are facing the street. Second, I recommend, never eat in this restaurant. Go 5 kms to the beautiful Luzern city center to eat much nicer and much more honest.
