Nach 10 Minuten warten wurden wir von einem Herrn vom Tisc... read more 13:15 setzten wir uns an einen der draussen gedeckten Tische, da niemand Zeit hatte uns zu plazieren. Nach 10 Minuten warten wurden wir von einem Herrn vom Tisch weggescheucht, da diese bereits für den Abend gedeckt seinen........! Er wies uns ungeduldig zwei andere Möglcihkeiten entweder in der hintersten Ecke oder im Durchgang zu und verschwand sofort. So stehen gelassen und aufgrund des etwas rüden Tones haben wir uns dann entschlossen zu gehen.Dieses Lokal haben wir uns aufgrund der Präsentation in "Mini Beiz Dini Beiz" aufgesucht. Doch ohne TV-Team im Rücken war die Motivation wohl nicht so gross.

Mangelhaft ist, dass der Prosecco, welcher selbst am Buffet geholt und eingeschenkt werden muss extra mit stolzen CHF 7 berechnet wird.Das empfinde ich als kleinlich und abstossend. Die Deklaration wurde beim Tisch gemacht, ich hab sie nicht gesehen.Aus diesem Grund werde ich den Brunch n i c h t Weiterempfehlen können.

Servicemitarbeiter waren nett, aber Serviceleistung konnte besser sein...Das Essen wiederum ganz ok!Sie haben scheinbar zuerst für unsere Jungs das Essen bestellt, aber wie auch immer, wir haben zuerst das Essen bekommen... Tisch war nur für 2 gedeckt, aber auch in der Zeit, die wir auf das Essen gewartet haben, wurde nicht für noch 2 weiter gedeckt... Erst als das Essen für die Jungs serviert wurde...Es sind zwar "Kleinigkeiten", aber bei einem Restauranttester, wäre sowas unakzeptabel...

The kind of place where... read more Jialu National isn't trying to dazzle you with the room. The interior is simple, pleasant, warm enough to settle into without any fuss. The kind of place where the setting quietly does its job and lets the food take over. No chandeliers, no grand architecture to process. Just a nice atmosphere and the reasonable expectation of a decent meal. The sweet and sour soup arrived first, and it arrived with a confidence I was not fully prepared for. Listed as sweet and sour, which technically it was but also considerably more spicy than that description suggests. Not unpleasant, just the kind of surprise that makes you put the spoon down for a second and recalibrate. Worth knowing before you order it. Then came the Gong Bao chicken, and that was a different story entirely. Really good. The kind of dish that has an actual personality to it. The sauce was sweet in a way that felt balanced rather than heavy, and the whole thing came together in a way that made it the clear highlight of the meal. The kind of main that makes you glad you didn't overthink the menu. The Virgin Fire Horse cocktail was fine. Drinkable, inoffensive, not something I'd go back for specifically. Sometimes a drink is just a drink. Service was friendly throughout, which always quietly elevates a meal more than it gets credit for. Jialu National won't redefine your expectations, but it delivers where it matters and that Gong Bao chicken is genuinely worth the visit on its own.

Overall it was not that great, i didn’t enjoy it as much and it didn’t deserve 4.5 stars. The service was slow, even with good amount of staff there, food was mediocre and pricey, and there was no views nor atmosphere of the place. The hot and sour soup was too peppery and missed the spicy hot flavor, didn’t taste authentic like real chinese soup. The other dishes were just ok. The only good thing was probably the white rice lol.
