I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful. Kevin, our waiter, was especially attentive. From the moment we walked in until we left, the restaurant staff made us feel welcome and catered to our needs. Everything is homemade, from the soup to the delicious strawberry shortcake. The salad bar was fresh and featured house-made items. We can't wait to go back! View all feedback.
What alank dislikes about Sam's Steakhouse:
Service training appears to be non existent. Waitress handled glassware from rim (sanitation, covid concerns? , expediter had to auction the food when they got to the table instead of knowing who ordered what (not what should be expected at this price point . Checking back or cleaning dirty dishes took forever (no crowd due to COVID and overall detracted from an otherwise quality meal. View all feedback.
Haven’t been there in years and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of really interesting options. I had the chorizo salad one of the best salads I’ve had. Everyone’s meals were good but the dessert menu was limited and pedestrian.
We have been coming to this restaurant for years (under other ownerships) and it continues to be among our favorite....alway consistent....Although we have not visited it this year as much as we would have wanted due to covid, we will look forward to next ski season and will enjoy your wonderful food and hospitality again...... Thank you for being there....
The wait staff and the bartenders we’re outstanding . The food was perfectly cooked hats off to the chef. My steak was perfect best I’ve had in a long time.
Not happy with The Bait And Switch which occurred. We went online and read the entire menu then went inside and realized all the actual pricing was substantially higher(up to twenty-five percent). I asked Robert, our waiter why this happened as my Fiancé stated it wasn 't fair and I stated it was bait and switch. Robert replied I 've heard this before and I 'm on your side but it 's what the owner wants. Robert then stated we were looking at the Summer Menu online We found out that our waiter was NOT on our side when Melanie complained that her Salmon tasted too oily and like butter and Robert merely walked away without offering another piece of Salmon, nor a discount or even a free dessert. But wait, there 's more...see attached photo of the rhetoric that is an additional 3% charge, fee, customer pays more to make up for a terrible owner who doesn 't appreciate the people who help the business (OWNER) make money. Why should customers pay this when, (We 'll call him SAM), is the one who needs to pay his Back Of House staff a fair wage? Robert, you need to take care of the patrons and not patronize. You had no desire or ability to satisfy your customers. Rhetoric forced me to diminish your tip by 3% and more and I generally tip 22%. We will not return despite me enjoying my steak and potato.
