This is a wonderful spot for a homestyle meal. The prices were excellent, especially considering the quality of the food we enjoyed.
Despite the long wait during their dinner rush, we were attended to properly and were checked on appropriately. The complimentary croissants at the beginning of the meal was a very nice touch. Our server was courteous and kind, as well as entertaining. The ordering process went well, as our server was able to elaborate on the details of both meals and drinks in order to ensure that there was no confusion. He was patient with us when we were still deciding what to eat, and allowed us to ask any question we had about the menu. After we ordered, the food came out after an appropriate amount of time, nice and hot. The food was delicious (try out the Buffalo Chicken Wrappers) as well were the drinks. The raw veggies tasted fresh and the chicken both cooked and juicy. French fries and homemade ranch were so good! Overall, it was a great experience and I had a blast while I was there. The only negative thing I could note is the state of the bathrooms in terms of cleanliness, but considering it was dinner rush, there isn't much that can be done.
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I visited Cheddar's and ordered our usual dishes. I tried the New Orleans pasta, which I highly recommend. I also had an Island Tiki drink. The customer service was exceptional as always—thank you for that!
I recall the Cheddar's I visited in Midland, but I never wrote a review because I didn't want to share any negative feedback. However, the Cheddar's in Lubbock is absolutely fantastic! I had the best waitress who was incredibly attentive. We chatted for a bit, and when she brought me my Monte Cristo sandwich, taking that first bite felt like a taste of heaven. It was prepared to perfection! I haven't had one of these sandwiches in nearly 30 years, so it brought back wonderful memories.
