We were given the recommendation from Barry Ross Founder of your golf travel who were golfing with. We certainly were not disappointed it's a place were locals go to eat. Well worth the visit great food and wine in abundance absolutely fantastic and as cheap as you like can't wait to return to the algarve to visit again. Fish catapalana for 2 people . The selection was superb, mainly fish and what we had was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and the service was great.
Been here many times always enjoyed it not this time , food mediocre , the restaurant was full of locals which we usually aim for love but we did feel 'unwanted ' rushed glad to leave , we won 't be going back , sad really as fr over 12 years I 've loved this place

This is a popular local restaurant for families and is pretty good value but the tastes are basic, so provided you are not expecting to have your culinary taste buds blown you will be ok. Enjoy
I just love this restaurant. It’s the old adage, it does what it says on the label. This is your typical local Portuguese restaurant that is loved by the local community and particularly the Portuguese themselves. It’s rustic, it’s basic but it’s absolutely lovely. The same staff have been serving throughout this period only his family owned. I have been going there for over 25 years and have never had a bad meal. Both the fish meat is fresh and flavoursome. You can’t go wrong with the quality of the food, the buzz from the local community meeting and sharing stories in the restaurant and best of all it will cost you or not. Don’t think about it just go to it and enjoy the evening.
