very nice little place to eat. they have a nice selection of sandwiches, and at home cooked meals. Also they have precooked meals they can take home and warm up, I had a club sandwich it was very good. my man had a chicken salad sandwich and he said it was different, but very good. we recommend this place in any case if they have not been and we are sure back. Chicken and dumplings? Disgusting boiled chicken and dumplings that had no texture whatsoever. Water logged green beans, wet instant mashed potatoes. Easily the worst meal in Longview. Makes school cafeterias seem like culinary cuisine. View all feedback.
Rice was overcooked! No chili but they still have it on the menu they let you order all this and then push back the time for delivery and you still don’t get your food order are you get what they want you to have the food was nasty! And I wish I coulda gave them zero stars. It’s not worth wasting your money! And they are inconsiderate when you call to let them know what they done wrong!!!! They get a attitude! If you don’t get an attitude and can’t complete someone order you need to be off of GrubHub! It doesn’t make sense to waste our Hard money during a pandemic… When myself and my child is disabled! We depend on a correct order you won’t get it from Brenda’s good eats. Impossible a lie… with their over cooked rice so mushy! I will not order from them again. I wish they had zero stars that’s what I would’ve graded it!!!!!??????
Brenda's is a great place to go for real home cooking. The staff has been there for years they are just as good as the food. If you want some consistently good down home food go see them. Prices are fair but the food ain't it's great everytime.
Now that they take credit cards I'll be back much more often :)Purple Hull Peas, Cabbage and Chicken Fried Steak are all excellent! Down Home cooking the way you want.
I work for Senior clients so I call in several meals at a time. They are very friendly and the portions are generous so we get two meals out of each. I’ll also order all vegetables then serve with the casseroles in the cooler.
Very good home-cooking food, they do run out sometimes. Prices are reasonable, especially for this quality.
