I love going to Hole Mole in San Luis Obispo for Taco Tuesday! It has become a regular routine for me to ride my bike there and enjoy some delicious tacos at a fantastic price. The Micheladas are also pretty good.
The carne asada fries (nacho papa nachos) at this restaurant are amazing, but their salsas don't complement the flavors well. It seems like they are more tailored towards Baja cuisine (I did not enjoy their fish burrito). If they could add a spicy green salsa (made with tomatillos, Serranos, garlic, and blended pasilla peppers), the fries would be 10 times better. This is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, but I am willing to change my rating if they add a good salsa to their menu.
This restaurant is always a fantastic dining option. My go-to dishes are the potato tacos and bean tacos, they are delicious. I would come here every day if I could. Make sure to try the roasted paprika, they are a must-have addition to your meal.

After sampling all of them, I felt they were better suited for the Baja dishes (I wasn't a fan of the fish burrito). I truly believe that if they offered a spicy green salsa made by roasting tomatillos, serranos, and garlic before blending them together, the fries would be ten times better. This is the only reason I didn't give them a five-star rating, but I'm open to revising my review once they introduce a good salsa to their menu.
This restaurant is a dependable choice for fish tacos, carnitas, and a nice cold beer. The food quality is consistently good, though it doesn’t quite reach exceptional levels. During the summer, outdoor seating can be a bit tricky because of the flies.
