I stumbled upon this restaurant, and I’m so glad I did! My partner ordered the half burger while I enjoyed the crab cake, and we had a wonderful time as we savored our meals. The staff in the kitchen were friendly, and they served the best ranch dressing I’ve ever tasted! Nice casual and friendly atmosphere. The food is good, but most of the entrees are meat dishes. I understand from dining companions that a variety of those entrees have been very good, but I prefer seafood and found their seafood options to be few in number. A great place, with amazing eating. it's so good. great staff. the menu always changes depending on the season. great children's menu and always brilliant special.
Consistently good food and service. the wine selection is good. the owner is busy with guests and we have never neglected whether on a table or bar. the tacos and artichoke are our usual access, but seriously, we had nothing bad here. the atmosphere is also very comfortable.
The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable yet lovely. My waiter was extremely helpful in selecting wines for my flight, all of which were excellent. During my visit, one of the owners was going around ensuring that every guest was happy with their meals. If I ever find myself back in Lompoc, I will certainly return to Scratch Kitchen!
We arrived during happy hour, but only a limited selection of items was available to order. I noticed several people come in and leave due to the restricted menu. We decided to stay, and the food we ordered turned out to be quite good. Although it took some time to receive our order (there were only three couples in the restaurant), overall, it was a positive experience.
