The Schwarzbrenner is a very nice place in Lörrach. We went there during a bike day trip from Basel. They have excellent food with a menu filled with delicious Swabian specialties. Also, a good selection of some of the best German beers, including some from the area. Highly recommended! View all feedback.

if you go out to eat 'cause u r hungry this is a place to go. If you prefer fancy food and white linen go elsewhere. Here the hungry guest has a fair chance to fill up its empty stomach. Plates come with a starter and are huge. Quality is average, sometimes dishes could be hotter. salad dressing is always the same and not so exciting. Good selection of wines, beers and spirits. Place for good, fast and lots of food. Small menus, therefore faster service If you like fat saturated things (blue, nuggest, sausage salad, etc. the place to visit in Brombach. Friendly Staff Aleman, German, Enlish, French speaking Beware of Cops! Not allowed to park in the accompanying street Hellbergstraße, if you do, you will probably be hostile.
Regional German kitchen. ons our way home from Italy we stoppen over in Lorrach. We were adviced to have dinner in this restaurant. The place look as you expert a German restaurant to look like. We had a nice, tasty meal, reasonably priced. The service was fine. 'Schwarzbrenner '; highly recommended!
Decent establishment where traditional German pub food is being served. Huge portions. Quite greasy and a little on the salty side but otherwise ok.
We stopped there with a group of friends and were treated extremely rudely from the very first moment. The atmosphere was immediately tense. A woman greeted us in a condescending tone, asked for a reservation, and pointedly rolled her eyes—even though there were plenty of free tables. We were only reluctantly given a table in a cold, uncomfortable, and unappealing room. The waitress who served us was also in a very bad mood, unfriendly, and completely unprofessional. She made a mistake with the order, which isn't a problem in itself. However, instead of calmly resolving it, she reacted irritably, made faces, and rolled her eyes again. Such behavior towards guests is absolutely disrespectful. The situation finally escalated when the waitress started a heated argument with my friend, reprimanding her loudly, rudely, and aggressively. I was stunned by the disrespectful and inappropriate way customers are treated here. Such behavior is simply unacceptable in the restaurant industry. This visit left an extremely negative impression that will stay with us for a long time. We felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and disrespected. Definitely not recommended.
We had a great meal and the portions are very generous. The service was good. I recommend making a reservation, as it gets busy and it’s difficult to get a table without one.
