Was Anonym at Lizard Point a mag?
Located at the southernmost point of the United Kingdom, we visited in January when most stores were closed. However, the southernmost café was open for business. The weather was beautiful and the coastline was picturesque. We tried to get pictures of the lighthouse, but it was located on private property and not easily accessible from the coast path. Located at the southernmost point of the United Kingdom, we visited in January when most stores were closed. However, the southernmost café was open for business. The weather was beautiful and the coastline was picturesque. We tried to get pictures of the lighthouse, but it was located on private property and not easily accessible from the coast path. We respectfully took photos from outside the fence. There is also a traditional lifeboat station that we found out later can be visited, but it didn't seem open to visitors when we were there. Overall, it was a nice place to visit, despite encountering some closures.
Despite the terrible weather, visiting this restaurant offered the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful landscape, stunning coastal walks, and dramatic seas. We revisited in 2021 and were amazed by the fantastic views. The tide was low, allowing us to explore all the way down to the beach. The cliffs also had some small caves that the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring.
Great place to hike around any day. The Old Boathouse is an interesting and spooky place to explore, and it's a perfect location for spotting seals. Take a pair of binoculars!
