Went for a dinner in Tonga. My first ime here... Menu is based on tradicional Portuguese dishes very well cooked and presented. Staff is very friendly. José, the boss is constantly rounding the tables to check if it is all going ok. Place is very pretty and clean They serve meals until 10 p.m. Ans close at 00h00. Mondays is the rest day for Tonga they are closed View all feedback.
One of the best Portuguese food restaurants I tried. Excellent service and the food was incredible, totally recommend the ossobuco, one of the best ones I’ve ever had!

The old Tongo was good, the actual Tongo isn't. Still a quite place for a late coffee in summer nights in Benfica.
Fui ver o Benfica e parei para beber umas cervejas com um amigo, foi muito bom.
It was a must in the zone of Benfica...then the slow dead then the transformation and we miss the old tonga what a pity :
