We had seafood rice and the house steak dish along with half a litre of the house white wine. In total, along with some bread, the bill came to €21. Incredible value. We were both so full, and the food was so delicious. The seafood rice lives up to its review reputation. Lots of large prawns, mussels, clams so fresh tasting. Staying in Rossio area and looking for traditional places that would take credit cards (seems to be an aversion in Portugal! . Really pleased that we found O Canastro , the food and house wine we're excellent and such great value. Would certainly recommend for anyone looking for an unpretentious and relaxed dinner.
A couple of nights ago, on a quiet evening, my husband daughter and I enjoyed a really delicious meal here we chose seafood rice for two, and pork with clams. Both were excellent! Recommended for sure.
Delicious food, generous portions and great prices, too! We ordered a variety and really enjoyed each one of our dishes!
