I've lived near Chic do Rego and went there frequently. The food is great, the staff is friendly, the price /quality ratio is very positive. Also good for special events in a family environment. A must-go for typical Portugal food!

Cheap eats restaurant not far from Gulbenkian Museum. The food is very good, the portions are generous, often one portion is enough for two persons. It has several fish dishes, even lingueirão rice that is so difficult to find in this region. Prices for a full meal around 14€. If you go there for lunch or Saturday dinner be sure to make a reservation or arrive very soon, otherwise you will not have a free place. A restaurant not to be missed or ignored.
