What can I say. Only wine and coffee were good . The rest ? Is that a medium steak ? It was even more than well done. Nobody around to complain . If you see an empty plate after I visit your restaurant dont assume I like it. Probably I am in a rush and hungry. I am not really fussy but I know what I like and what I ordered . And last but not least I know the service . View all feedback.
There on Monday evening for dinner (nice and quiet) and we had the most attentive service in the city. eating was ineffective. they can taste the carefree with which it was made. the croquettes were crispy outside and beautifully soft and fresh inside. the Portuguese steak was cooked for perfection with a delicious potato tower, speck and ei, and to complete everything, the setting is stunning. I would go back without doubt.
Very delicious dinner with a really good service. local food with high quality service. when we visited the restaurant, our friend celebrated their bachelor party and the personal was so friendly to prepare a delicious cake for us. we had a great time in aura.
The lovely spot was detracted by the poor and over priced food. We had the Pastel de Bachalhau (note to kitchen, salted cod doesn't need more salt). The garlic prawns were decilious but couldn't justify the price. As for the Vnho Verde, it must have been filtered through a marathon runners sock. It was overpriced and not up to spec. I don't mind paying tourist prices as long as I get quality food and booze. The service was good and gets one of the two stars.
One of my favorites in Lisbon. Beautiful location and perfect hosts. Portuguese inspired food with a twist by Chef Duarte Matias. Can’t miss the “pataniscas de lavagante” and any of the desserts.
Arrived and was escorted to a table in the end of the room. Service was good, pleasant and friendly staff. After the starter, Clams Bulhao Pato (can only complaint about the size of the clams as they were too small) that were really tasty, I asked for grilled Octopus. Was nice, well season and very tender. As for the the wine list, has some of the major names in Portugal, although I asked for an Alvarinho Santiago and it was out of stock so I asked for a Sauvignon Blanc from Quinta dos Abibes. Not the perfect paring... For the Octopus I asked for the Quinta do Pinto Grande Escolha which was a better paring. A very good experience! A final thank you for the great staff that helped charge my phone (that's why no photos)!!
