There is very little here, but a quiet hotel with clean rooms, a soft bed and a balanced breakfast
We picked up our beloved dog Casper in Lichtenau and, due to the long journey, spent two nights at the Engemann Inn. We received a warm welcome from Matt, and the room was very clean and comfortable! The lovingly prepared breakfast and the morning reception were especially great. They even asked if we needed anything to clear the snow from the car and cleared everything around it. We were even allowed to pack doggy bags for our return trip and were well looked after. We highly recommend Mr. Mathew Walter and his team and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything!
I stayed with Matt at the Gasthaus Engemann for a few days and felt warmly welcomed from the very first moment. The staff is truly exceptionally friendly, attentive, and dedicated—you rarely experience such service! Every wish was met with a smile, and you can tell the dedication goes into everything here. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, but what really makes the stay special is the warm and personal atmosphere created by the team. Thank you for the wonderful stay, I will definitely be back!
Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service. Located near Paderborn, and well connected by bus. We spent three wonderful days in a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to Matt and his fantastic team!
