We had dinner at this place on October 14th. We ate very well. Very good cold cuts appetizer (the cooked ham was delicious) and then a Monzese risotto (yellow risotto with luganega and parmesan in the crust) really excellent!!! The girl in the room was very nice.
Simple and genuine place, mainly traditional cuisine with a menu that is perhaps slightly limited in choices (especially in the appetizers) but a sign of choosing fresh ingredients (perhaps with off-menus the menu could be enriched daily) The wine list is good even if I prefer it already divided by regions. Excellent sweets. But I would keep a passito to accompany them. Average cost (at dinner for appetizer, first course, second course and dessert, a bottle of red wine and amaro, 2 people, about 65 euros per person)
Lara advises you by reading your mind, and the simple but well-kept cuisine is paired with the environment which is warm not only for the fireplace. Risotto with ossobuco, octopus with leek cream and a knife tartare with anchovies that you don't even eat like this in Piedmont, and your choice of tiramisu with decaf coffee or not which is made on the go.
The old bowling club has been one of my favorite restaurants for about a year now. Lara captivates you with her smile and professionalism. Excellent research in the dishes and in the raw materials used. Furthermore, there is a change in the menu which is intriguing!
OMG. Called ahead to ask for a table. Lady (owner) went out of her way to get someone on the phone who spoke English. When we arrived, she searched for the same person who talked us through the menu in English. We had a great conversation trying to find words and ingredients together. So, excellent start to a great evening. We shared two appetizers and had two main dishes, all of which were incredibly delicious. Italian comfort food. I hope we will have the chance to return one day.
