We found this restaurant on tripadvisor and decided to try it. great choice! we had the most delicious carving and potato salad. it was excellent and made clear with care. there we have little extras that made this restaurant to appreciate us. as customers. the lady that belongs to the restaurant served us. the most friendly service. super happy with our choice. (we have tried two more restaurants in lenggries that were not good this will be our visit in this area now. fresh and homemade and delicious, with friendly service excellent. and also good value.
The small, family-owned restaurant is located just a min drive from the bottom station of famous Brauneck Bahn cableway, and well worth the drive: freshly cooked food, served by a very lovely couple who definitely knows its way around regional dishes and where to...source the best ingredients for them. Do try the seasonal game or pumpkin cuisine, the great wines and spirits they serve. Come very early or do make a reservation (couple of hours in advance will might be ok), they have only a few tables.
A restaurant visit according to our specifications! very nice and accommodating host that guide the restaurant to the second! the man cooks and the woman houses the guests. the food was excellent! the wild dishes are a dream! a big praise for the cook! very tasty and appealing! a pearl, as they rarely find it! necessarily book, take time and enjoy the delicious food! we look forward to the next visit there!
My visit here has been here since (juni 2019;) still, but since I was still swung out of the more icy and I liked the visit card back into the hands, I don't want to miss, they're evaluating the more icy finite: eating is absolutely excellent; I have never eaten so delicious and delicate meat! the dishes are absolutely exquisite and are completely fresh and very elaborately prepared! They are not only a joy for the palate, but also for the eyes! extremely tasty and very noble! it took quite long until the food was ready; it was also excellent! the owner is also super friendly and has served us absolutely polite! we also had a good time with her. very nice service! we sat outside on the terrace; totally beautiful! I think it is very expensive; but quality, service and environment make the price absolutely bet again! not recommended!
On a recent stay in Lenggries we discovered that this restaurant offers several kinds of venison complete with Knödel (dumplings), cream sauce and mushrooms (Schwammerl). Just my kind of food to enjoy with a wheat beer or a glass of red wine. I insisted on...coming back a second time because it was so good. The owners are very friendly, and there is outside seating.
