This is classic old style french roadside restaurant. The food is simple but well cooked. We had terrine followed by beef and frites all washed down by a carafe of very good house red for the princely sum of €28. A great stop on the way back to the channel tunnel.
It has taken us a while to find this restaurant but it has been worth all the effort. They serve simple local food cooked beautifully with a solid red wine to accompany. lunch at €15.50 included a lovely rough terrine, steak hash with frites carafe of red wine and water. Apple tarte dessert was €3 extra. Lovely place lovely atmosphere. Full of locals. What more could you want?
Very good menu at 34 euros, entry, dish, dessert plus drinks. Quality food, welcoming staff... a great discovery and a good time.
Not very welcoming and too much waiting between meals. Avoid if you are in a hurry
