Description
The restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some patrons enjoying the ambiance, friendly service, and delicious menu offerings. The setting is described as cozy with a beautiful terrace. Dishes like the oysters and tasting menu have been highlighted for their quality and taste. However, some customers have expressed disappointment in the slow service, overcooked dishes, and high prices. The location of the restaurant in a rundown strip mall has been a point of contention for some. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a unique dining experience, but there are varying opinions on the quality of food, atmosphere, and value for money.
Feedback
Our first two experiences at the restaurant had been very satisfactory. a fish can be a little too cooked but very good. And what to say of melting dumping. At the third visit, shortly after the ethytic criticism of Madame Lortie...The pulp of dumping was no longer the same, stiff and not cooked enough. The fried chicken was too cooked the crust being almost burned, although the taste was there. Then friends went. even dumpling stiff, tough, and 2 dried, overcooked ris. Unfortunately it's over for us
First of all, what a nice setting.with lots of plants and a different style from what we usually see... correct welcome .jolie terrace behind where we easily forget that we are in a parking...The entrance of dumpling sublime .it started well .until the waiting of my dish .who said waiting .voulait said I had to wait 50 minutes to have my meal.
Warm decor, young passionate team, food worthy of the great Montreal restaurants. We go back without hesitation.
This restaurant offers upscale Montreal cuisine, despite being located off the island in Laval. However, it is overrated and expensive. The interior of the restaurant is nice, but it is situated in a rundown strip mall that appears abandoned. The signature cocktails were disappointing. The oysters I had as an appetizer were the highlight of my meal. My husband's pear and ricotta dish was lackluster, and our friend found the dumplings to be too salty. The onglette and veal with rice main courses were filling and the meat was tender, but only slightly above average in taste. The doughnut with strawberry coulis for dessert was saved by the tasty coulis, as the doughnut itself was bland and dry. The service was extremely slow, with long waits for drinks, main courses, and dessert. In short, the meal was slightly better than average in taste, overpriced, located in a poor area, and had slow service. This restaurant is not worth visiting considering its claims of high-end cuisine do not match the reality of the food and service.
