**Discovering Pints: A Brewery Gem in Laughlin** Nestled within the Colorado Belle casino, Pints offers a lively gathering spot for foodies and beer enthusiasts alike. Dine on hearty choices like the build-your-own Big Firkin Burger and tasty appetizers. While mixed service experiences have been noted—some staff shining with friendliness while others have been deemed less courteous—the food remains a highlight, with crispy wings and unique takes like cauliflower bites. The beer selection impresses even seasoned enthusiasts. Despite minor hiccups, customers consistently appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and remarkable views of the Colorado River, making Pints a lively destination worth revisiting.
Delicious food and a lovely ambiance, though the service was a bit slow. The Big Frickin' Burger is truly huge!
Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced! We had to leave our table and go to the bar just to place our food and drink orders. We were hoping the service would improve as our meal progressed, but who were we kidding? The server never came over at all. We ended up ordering every drink from the bar instead of from our table. That’s fine if I have to do that, but it means the only person getting a tip from me is the bartender. Based on this experience, I will not be returning.
Food was good, loved the range of options. Visited on 3/6/19; in the evening. Restaurant was busy but our server found us a nice spot in one of the high tables. Highly recommend the Vampire Dip if your normally a fan of artichoke dip but LOVE garlic. Comesin a huge bread bowl and its plenty to share. The moterallza sticks are well seasoned. Fries however not my favorite tried boththe skinny and thick cut, maybe they were not done crispy enough for me. We both had the burger you build, taking a star downfor incorrect pricing on all the paper burger menus. The server charged us more then listed for a topping and said it wasuncharged and never changed on menu. He fixed our bill but I think it's important for customer and server to simply fix thatissue. The burger itself was cooked perfect to my order but could use more seasoning to my taste, still loved it toppingsservings sizes are perfect! Good environment will likely visit again for steak or shrimp!
This restaurant is pretty average overall. There aren't many options for vegetarians, either. The service can be quite inconsistent – most of the time, it's not great, with slow servers or being understaffed, and occasionally, the staff can be a bit rude. Since there aren’t many dining options available, I do tend to return from time to time to see if anything has improved. During my latest visit, though, we had a server named Sean who was excellent – very attentive and prompt. If you enjoy breweries and don’t mind waiting a bit, this place offers a nice view of the river where you can relax and enjoy your drink.
During my second visit, I stopped by for lunch. Initially, I tried to go to Brew Brothers across the street at the Tropicana, but they don't open until 1 PM for reasons I'm not quite sure of, so I ended up back at Pints. I sat at the bar and chose a different beer this time; after having the Bodacious Blueberry on my first visit, which was a bit too strongly flavored for an entire glass, I opted for the Mexican lager at lunch, and it was fantastic! The fried fish tacos were also a highlight—they were absolutely delicious. I heard that if you gamble on the bar machines, you can score a free beer, but I'm not much of a gambler and didn’t plan on having more than one drink anyway. Though lunch wasn’t the cheapest, it was definitely worth it, especially the amazing crinkle-cut sweet potato fries! Pints is my favorite restaurant in Laughlin. The decor is unique, making you feel like you're in a ship. The staff is friendly and younger than at many other places. I'd say the crowd at Pints is mostly under 55, but my older aunt and uncle enjoyed their meals just as much, and we all found the portions generous. While older patrons can often be picky, they had no complaints here. If there’s any room for improvement, it would be in the temperature control of the dining area and maybe having someone more knowledgeable about beer, like a cicerone, on staff. As a bit of a beer enthusiast, I appreciate learning more about the selections. I asked the bartender about the seasonal Ye Old Ale; he described it as an IPA, but it’s actually a Golden Ale. Still, I get that not having overly adventurous beers on tap is likely a wise choice for Laughlin, where most people just want a Coors Light. All in all, I give Pints two thumbs up!
