Absolutely disgusting! I ordered a rib sandwich with the sauce on the side and a half chicken dinner that came with two sides: baked beans and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni looked like leftovers from the night before, and when I tasted it, it was terrible! The baked beans had a horrible taste, almost like they were past their prime. I haven't driven by a bbq that's smell has made me like a cartoon character, floating toward the smell, since living in Texas. Very well priced and tasted great.
We would have given it a 4 but giving it a 2 because when we paid for our food the guy put our change, 3.00, into the tip jar. At the moment I thought it was normal and waited to see what he would do with the next person. . He did give them back their change. So I approached him and told him that he didn’t give me back my change and we wanted our change. He denied it, and I told him that I would not be lying to him that he put our change into the tip jar. He then looked at me open the tip jar and gave back our change. Like what the heck! Other than that the food was a 4. Obviously will not be going back to that place again.
I love the gigantic racks of ribs that have been slowly smoked . They make their own zesty and tangy barbecue sauce. They also have amazing baked beans and potato salad. And if you like collard greens, they make it amazing with smoked rib meat! They have a lot of different meals for different budgets. Also they have smoked chicken and sausage!
