This restaurant, primarily a takeout spot, showcases a blend of flavors, though opinions on the food seem divided. Was Anonym at Thailand a mag?
I ordered the spicy chicken lunch combo along with some extra spring rolls. The prices are reasonable, and the food is made to order, so it's always fresh and flavorful. Be sure to test the heat level before they make it spicier than you'd like. I’ve learned that when they ask if you want extra spices, they really mean it! The spring rolls are fantastic—coming from someone who usually dislikes egg rolls, I found thes... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Thailand:
Meh. Food here is just okay. My wife and I are regulars at Bangkok House, and Taste of Thai in E.L., and this place isn't close to those two places. Fine if you're in a pinch or can't get to another Thai restaurant in the greater Lansing area. Food lacked flavor and wasn't spicy enough. View all feedback.
I ordered the Pad Krapao (pork and basil stir-fry) and the Kang Kheowann (sweet green chicken curry), and I was really happy with both dishes. They had a nice medium spice level, were very flavorful, and the portion sizes were quite good.
I always order the spring rolls and noodles, and they consistently taste incredibly fresh. I also appreciate that they poke a hole in the roll box to keep them crunchy! It's my favorite lunch spot.
Stuck at home feeling miserable with COVID, I decided to give their soup a try, and I'm so glad I did. The Tom Kha Khai was absolutely fantastic! It arrived piping hot and tasted incredibly fresh. The broth was delightful, and the addition of lime leaves and galangal really enhanced the flavor. It was primarily chicken and broth, topped with green onions and cilantro. This soup is a perfect remedy if you're feeling under the weather or just need something warm on a chilly day. I highly recommend it! I also ordered the Kang Kheo Wann, and while it's delicious, it's a bit too rich for my stomach right now, so I’ll save it for tomorrow. I will definitely be ordering again!
This is one of my favorite resturants in the world, and I travel a lot for work. The spring rolls are unlike anything I have ever had anywhere else. Everything on the menu is killer. I usually go for the chicken pad thai or the garlic chicken, but don't be afraid to try anything on the menu. It will be awesome.
