The worst experience I have ever had. Waited 50 minutes after we ordered and server came up asked if we were all set and brought us to go boxes. Keep in mind our food hadn’t been brought to us yet. Staff was also extremely rude. View all feedback.
I was excited, but sorely disappointed. I’ve worked in food service so I understand the struggle but an hour and a half to get cold, hard, and seemingly pre frozen food just wasn’t worth it. Wouldn’t care to spend $15 here over any other restaurant or even McDonalds, god forbid. I get it can be busy, but that’s really unacceptable. I also observed some the staff simply microwaving orders that had been up for a while and serving them, and even handling food directly with her bare hands. Not okay. They brought us takeout boxes and our check before our food, which was cold, bland and hard anyway. A passive aggressive and ignorant staff combined with the wait and bad food culminated a really, really poor dining experience. I may be able to get over it if I saw ANY orders coming out at all, but it seemed the kitchen simply halted for 45+ minutes. Really disappointed and I won’t be returning.
Owners run the bar and wife waits on the tables and she also helps cook, and they are very nice. But food needs a little something more. 6 of us and only the Ruben was anything to talk about. Strawberry shortcake looked and smelled amazing, but it was at the table next to us.
Food was decent, especially for the price. Service was nice.....but SLOW. Waited well over 30 minutes after seating to order, and well over an hour to get the food.
Fantastic staff, and all the charm of an actual pub. Both times we dined the food was outstanding. Great fish and chips (still partial to Claddagh, but very good! And quite reasonable prices. A great place for a casual date night with the Mrs.
Our meal started off great. Excellent service. The spinach dip was a great starter. When our meals arrived, things took a dive. My husband bit in to his Fish and Chips and got a bite of raw cod. He checked a second piece to find a small piece of blue plastic. We didn't dive in on the third piece, afraid of what we might find. Hopefully this was just a one off.
